Who Are We?
Welcome to NOAH'S ARC, an organization operating in Kyenjojo District, Mid-Western Uganda. We are passionate, dedicated, and committed to fighting and eradicating hunger, poverty, illiteracy, and preventable diseases in our community. Since our establishment in November 2008), we have been working tirelessly to transform one life at a time.
Our Mission:
At NOAH'S ARC, our mission is to uplift and transform lives in Kyenjojo District by combating hunger, poverty, illiteracy, and preventable diseases. We firmly believe that every individual, regardless of their religion, race, or political affiliation, deserves access to basic necessities and opportunities to thrive. With unwavering compassion, empowerment, and collaboration, we strive to create a future where everyone has equal chances to succeed and build thriving communities.
Our Objectives:
To achieve our mission, we have set clear objectives that guide our work:
- Education and Child Welfare: We are dedicated to helping orphans and vulnerable children access quality education and providing them with a nurturing environment for their holistic development. By investing in their education, we empower them with the tools they need to break free from the cycle of poverty.
- Sustainable Agriculture and Income Generation: We promote agriculture in Kyenjojo and the surrounding areas, aiming to enhance income generation for individuals and communities. Through the implementation of sustainable farming practices, we strive to improve food security and create economic opportunities for the local population.
- Promotion of Health: This is through helping communities to access clean and safe water and medical camps that offer free treatment to the underserved.
- Spiritual Growth and Community Well-being: In addition to our practical interventions, we emphasize the importance of spiritual growth and personal well-being among community members. We aim to create an environment that nurtures faith, values, and inner strength, fostering a sense of purpose and wholeness.
